Nursery Information

At Bishop Ridley School Nursery, we want to be open about the items which parents and carers will be charged for during their child’s time with us.

Universal entitlement (15 hours)

The school is able to offer places for three hours in the morning (9.00 am to 12.00 pm) or three hours in the afternoon (12.00 pm to 3.00 pm) for the full five days (Monday to Friday).

This is free to all 3 and 4-year old children.

Extended Entitlement (30 hours)

All day sessions for the full five days (Monday to Friday) are available for those parents who are eligible for the 30 hours provision and have a Tax Free Childcare code.  The full day will run from 9.00 am to 3.00 pm.

Parents will need to provide a packed lunch for their child. 

“Extended” all day sessions

We can offer Extended all-day sessions (8.30 am to 3.30 pm for an additional daily charge of £7.00.

All sessions are offered during term time (38 weeks).

Other Chargeable Items

We will also charge for the items listed below. These charges are in place in order to  cover our costs. 

We hope that the majority of families will provide the necessary items for their child, and we strongly encourage parents / carers to arrive promptly to collect their child as this will ensure that children have a calm and positive experience of nursery.
